I just got DBPro in the mail and was wondering if I need to update the program. In the help menu it said I got ver 1.5 and if so how do I update the program? Unlike windows you just click on windows update and the program updates itself with the latest patches for windows. Also what plug-ins should I be looking at to install to make DBPro work as best it can? I also got Darkmatter with it, it has enhancement pack bundle with it but is it for DB or DBPro? It talks about upgrading DB to ver 1.1 so I it was for BD. Any help that you experts could give a new guy is most appreciated!!

Thanks

You can always find the latest update for DBP at this page:
http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/?f=upgrades

Plugins can be found here:
http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/?f=enhance

It's always best to have the latest update but you may or may not want the plugins on that page, to start off with you should probably just get to know the language first and when you start getting interested in new features then you may want to consider purchasing one of the packs on that site.

Unfortunately the Enhancement Pack that comes with DarkMATTER is different to the one on that page, so it will only work with DarkBASIC and not DarkBASIC Professional.
