I had the enhancement pack for DB classic when I first installed. I resintalled DB a while ago and now I cant use the NGC dll I payed for. The enhancement just isnt there anymore. Where can I download the enhancement file?

The enhancement pack is an add-on you either paid for, or got on your CD as a freebie. You can't download it for free. Check your installation CD.

If I remember rightly, when I bought Classic, I got DarkMatter + Enhancement CD as a freebie. I had to manually install the enhancement.

you could try installing patch 1.13 off the Darkbasic section of the main site, IIRC some of the enhancements where in that patch, could be wrong though, but worth a try.
As an aside, it constantly amazes me as I look at my bookcase full of neatly stacked CD`s just how many other people actualy come on here and complain that they lost their CD`s, I can`t imagine anybody so disorganised that they can`t find the CD to a major application they are willing to spend so much time on, I even keep the CD`s off magazines in case I want an application or utility, I still have stuff that goes back 10 years on that bookcase.

Mentor.

PC2: AMD 2ghz, 512mb ram, FX5200 ultra, 16 bit SB.
Mini ATX cases suck.

Wow Mentor, that's gotta be alot of CD's!

Game,
If you download the 1.13 patch, it contains all the enhancements for a 30 day trial period, after which they expire.

To get the full enhancements, you have to install the update from the DarkMATTER CD, or from the download ( depending on what version you had ).

If you no longer have the enhancement, then they only thing I can suggest is providing proof of purchase to TGC, and if they're kind enough, they will send you the downloadable version.

When I bought DarkBasic it was boxed as v1.12 and came with a demo of the enhancement pack, then when I installed the 1.13 update the Enhancement Pack became permanent for some reason.

At one point, I had over 500 CDs. The local playgroup wanted a shiny background for their space rocket project - now I have around 200. And I haven't missed any of the ones I gave away.

Question answered! I must have had a trial or something. Guess I gotta buy the darned thing.........I wonder why it doesnt come WITH Darkbasic-being that the commands for calling dll's come with the program..whats that all about?
