I am making a 3D paintball game, and I need to be able to paste images of paintball splats on the objects that get hit. Also things like posters and spraypaint images. Is there any way that I can do this?

P.S. I am using DBPro.

You could always use texture object and texture a part of the wall with the splat. And If you were to aim at the same place you would just have to have a splat placed in a different place on the wall.

how do you texture just part of the wall without texturing the whole thing?

Have seperate parts of a wall, could be annoying if you had one really long wall, (annoying=cutting fps) but other than that just cut up the wall into sections.

if a bullet hits a wall.. get the angle of the wall that's getting hit and then place a plain with a paint splat texture against the wall with the correct angle..

Do you need a complete FPS engine ?? well here it is:
