Man oh man, what is the world coming too:

http://www.duluthsuperior.com/mld/duluthsuperior/news/9658496.htm

I went to the next game after that one, and it was kinda weird knowing that someone had just been stabbed on those very bleachers.

At our school football games, one school sits on the left and one school sits on the right, and the people who dont care sit in the middle. Evidently some people from the other school went to the opposite side of the bleachers and taunted the other school's supporters. It's kind of sad how someone can almost be killed over something so stupid.

In our city, there's three "rival" high-schools: Denfeld (the poorer side), Central (right in the middle, gets people from both sides of the city, poor and well off) and East ("The Cake Eaters") Most people that go there (like me) are well off and generally dis-liked by the other schools.

Just thought I post this up and see people's reactions.

Well, we are just dumb in our school most of the kids can't use a pencil, much less a knife(can't find that dang on button). But kids are crazy.

Yup, carrying knives or anything classed as a weapon in public is illegal in the UK. But that means theres less need to actually carry one, since less people will have one in the first place.

Isn't it? Wasn't it? Marvellous!

actually think about it...

the people who have no intention of using a weapon for bad reasons(read as violence) will not get a weapon because it is against the law...

now the people who do want to do some thing voilent(or just want to be prepared for "self defense"...read as: robbing convienance store) will get a weapon somehow...like say the local black market...

then when a person with a weapon attacks a law-abiding person...the law abiding person is out of luck...

not to long ago(read as:1900s or so...) every body had a gun/weapon for some people it was to defend against wild animals though for others it was for self defense...

that way if you are thinking about murder...you know that whoever you are going after will have a weapon also...and that can be very discouraging....

anyway sorry for the rant but i hate the whole "if nobody has a weapon then we will all be safe" thing

if they want a weapon they will find it.

I don't really see flick knifes being baned as anything other than a good thing.
Of course they can just find another weapon and use that but the chances are the other weapon will be visible before it cuts you and so isn't such a problem

it's cool to hate

@Ozzum: This isn't something you should be bragging about. Plus, did she scream?

Owning a gun for self defece is a really bad idea, because as soon as you buy a gun you are instantly five times more likely to get shot.

no it doesn't because the police need to stop ppl from shooting, and stop all the other types of crimes, the police aren't meant to only fight gun crimes

It is sickning to me how the most advanced civilization in the known univers (us) can resort to such un-civilized behavior.

Guns arnt the problem, people are the problems, shoot all the people and guns arnt a problems anymore.
