I would like to get the game, but I'm set on beating the games I already have, first

I found it mildly addicting but I'm almost over it now.

I did the same thing at first, but I like to play for maximization of stats and all, and wanted to save up the money to buy a mansion (without using cheats), and then found I'd made a key mistake.

I kept up relationships maximized so I'd always have enough friends for max promotions, and so of course I'd chosen all girls. And I tried to keep aspiration maximized to platinum level.

But since I hadn't chosen the 'playboy' character type, apparently all my aspirations were for pitiful things now that my skills were maxed as I'd chosen a 'knowledge' based character, or for 'backrubs' for the girls.

And if I give a girl a backrub immediately one of the 9 other girls pops up as another mere 500 aspiration points backrub option, instead of going to the next level with the same girl, always switching girls, and never getting to the big 1000 point rewards.

I found myself having to invite all the flames to the same house, at the same time, to possibly get to the next level, and having to make sure I seperated each aspiration girl into another room so I could safely give that girl a backrub or more.

It was rapidly very tedious.

So I decided to have some fun and try to kill off a girl for a ghost, and have her haunt the place. Never having a ghost perhaps she'd be useful.

Haven't done it right yet. The first fire I started went well, but didn't take out the maid as well as the girl invited over, and my guy stopped writing his novel due to my inattention and wandered into the kitchen at the last moment getting stuck in the fire too.

I'm really curious as to whether if you take out the maid in the fire, you'll get a new maid. The maid is the handiest relationship character because she always visits without you having to invite her, and goes away when done with her job, if you don't want her around.

It's unfortunate that from the start you can't get multiple maids.

I may restart with a new character, but the game seems oriented towards having multiple sims and I don't like to juggle families, I like to keep just one sim at a time.

If you thought you'd run out of things to do with the Sims 2..
Let Sharkey educate you.

My friends all downloaded it and promptly deleted the Sims 2. The reason being running their lives were ruining theirs.

I'm trying to do some hardcore money budgeting but I'd really like to buy this game, also another game I'm saving up for Snake Eater. That last one is more important to me, I'm a huge MGS fan.

Any of you guys play "The Sims Online" I had it when it was free and out on beta testing, that was a fun experience.

Sims Online is subscription based, they charged too much per month last time I checked. Around $10, but maybe they lowered it by now?
