Newcomers DBPro Corner / Text problems

I have a problem with text
I clear the screen using the CLS command (with rgb values attached for a background colour).
Then I load a bitmap into number one and copy it into bimtap 0.
I then try to display text using the PRINT and TEXT commands, and no text appears

Any ideas

You need to put set current bitmap 0
