1/ switch to dbp then press Alt-F4
2/ right-click on the group of the pop-ups and close them all at once.
it's a known memory leak problem, personally i always used to get this in Delphi when using it with XP.
aparently it is just from bad programming, though the latest patch for the IDE (even if it is unofficial) fixxes alot of problems particularly with memory leaks.
not sure how or why they're happening exactly though, and without Guy to update on this problem it will never be 100% fixxed.
personally speaking though, i don't like any of the IDEs, particularly Blue. I know it has the most features and blah blah blah.
but it just feels tacky to use, i mean you use the PureBasic IDE for a week and all of the DBP IDEs feel like tacky user developed stuff.
i like something to feel like it is actually professional as i'm working with it... blue was designed by a programmer, this is painfully obvious due to the layout.
it's like a mechanic doing thier own car, you ever seen a mechanics own car?
sure they can do awesome jobs for everyone elses and repair them nicely, but for themselves... everything is a case of 'it has it's purpose it doesn't have to look perfect'.
this is exactly the feel i get from almost every 3rd party IDE currently out.
and i've been commented before 'well if you don't like Blue it is opensource and you can edit it yourself', yeah problem with that being it is in VB... which i hate almost as fiercely as Linux.
programmers really do NEED to start getting input from designers though, i mean having something work nicely is one thing. having it work right is something completely different.
