I saw somewhere that you can make a sreensaver using DB. Is this just DBPro or is it DB. If it is possible in DB, what is the command.

Also I need to get a backdrop on.
All I have for my first project is a static airoplane (AIRPL004.x) which I just keep on repositioning and rotating to give the effect it is flying. I have the image I want to use as a background in .JPG and .PSD fromas. What is the command to put the picture as my bg?

u can make screen savers in db as well as dbpro all u have to do is programm a object to move around the screen by it's self and then goto build final and put the name of it and at the end put .scr then place it into the following directery c:\windows\system32 and thats it but only one problem when u goto desktop properties and select it it starts up so move the mouse then click apply and it starts again and move the mouse then just click ok then its done.

I put it in C:\Windows\System32. I go to select it in desktop properties but it isn't in the list. Shall I just put it in C:\Windows? I'm asking because I don't want to muck anything up.

Also what is the command to end the program when the mouse is moved or a key is pressed. Because at the moment I must press escape. Oh and I asked my dada and he said I can put in in my C:\Windows folder and it has worked.

To END the program when MOUSECLICK() just put

If mouseclick()=1 then END

Damn it, there should be an edit button...

Anyway. The text re-size doesn't work neither does the bold. Also I tried ot set a background colour for when the text appears using this code:

ink rgb(225,0,0),rgb(0,225,0)

but the bg is still black.

You have to use TEXT with Set text size

Try
SET TEXT SIZE 30
SET TEXT TO BOLD

That code is about 200 lines too long. You can position the object more and more by using the INC and DEC commands, and setting variables for the values.

OK, done that, it worked. But what about the background colour for the text and the background image for the plnae part of the screensaver. Also the mouse=end program problem.

For the background just color the background with ink, and for the plane, just make a plain and texture it with a texture.
