how do I set a sprite on top of another sprite? beside from loading them in specific order.

set sprite priority spriteNo, priority

The higher the priority, the later the sprite will be drawn (and thus will be placed on top of other sprites)

No, the only way to order sprites in DBC is unfortunately loading them in the right order.

Well if you don't mind a litte bit abstraction you can manage depth sorted sprites in DBclassic also. There's an example/library on my site

thanx alot, I just put your site in my favorites, but I already started on the system the other way, I just put my loading of sprites far down in the bottom, and then created three sub groups for loading, bottom, middle, top, works fine for now.

No - once pasted, a sprite becomes a part of the background.

Why are you pasting them anyway?

I havent used paste sprite, but can't you use cls to wipe it, and then paste it somewhere else?

I make an old-scholl rpg, lots of the same sprite, but I will try DBPRO trial.
