Well i have wasted the last 2 days away. Well i wouldn't consider it wasting, as i have been playing this great game non-stop. Imagine BF1942, but everything is replaced with Wookies, Storm Troopers, and all sorts of, well, everything from the Star Wars universe. I highly suggest any Star Wars Fan/ FPS fan/ BF series fan to pick this game up now.

I have been playing the PC version of course, and i run it with everything on high, 1024x768 (can go higher, but i never like anything but) and Anti Aliasing 4x. There is a PS2 (which i could never sya is good, cause FPS's suck on that damn thing) and an XBOX version just incase you have "El Computi el peica sh*to".

The offline version is pretty fun also... AI isn't too bad, and even simulates "AFK" people sometimes (Although i think it may be A bug :p).

Anyway, I am done with my advert.

From what i saw, PS2 graphics aren't bad on this title. But the XBOX just knocks it away graphics and visual wise (yet again).

Got it today - nothing particularly special (probably stick it on eBay soon). Nice to be able to drive vechiles, but there is no real interaction there - you could leave your team-mates to do all the work while you have a cup of tea...

Yeah, thought so.

It was a bit to easy on normal, and then it became a bit challenging on hard. With normal yes you don't have to do much, but i noticed on hard, if you don't pick-up your 20-30 kills (well 50 sometimes) the team falls apart and loses.

Well thats what you get with the warez version (joke... )

On the serious side, i dunno what would be causeing that. Probably report that to them and they'll ignore you . Other then that, no ideas.

As it is, the drive had trouble reading disk 2 & 3, which it appears, they know about...

No point - it'll be on eBay in a few minutes.

Can you drive those big ATAT things? If you dont know what I'm talking about, the ATAT's are those Huge turtle/dog looking things that attack Hoth in the second starwars movie, they were taken out by tow-cables in that movie.

Guns arnt the problem, people are the problems, shoot all the people and guns arnt a problems anymore.

I got the new Star Wars DVDs and there was an Xbox demo on it where you could do split screen on the Battle of Endor. The AI were incredibly annoying and stupid, but the graphics were crisp (and shooting ewoks was loads of fun). If the AI wasn't to terrible it's probably be a great game.

[Coughs] Try the higher difficulty and different races if possible with the demo, the AI differs among [/Coughs]

But seriouslly, as BF1942 before it, seems that the AI sucks in anything but teh hard.

I got a chance to try the Xbox version out today at EB, and It's actually pretty good! I played naboo, and Hoth, and although I couldn't find out how to drive the Big four legged ATAT's I did get to shoot some stuff, I'm planning on downloading the PC Demo when it comes out because I really liked it, the graphics rocked to!

Guns arnt the problem, people are the problems, shoot all the people and guns arnt a problems anymore.

I saw the ewoks take out the ATST (2 legged thingy) in Endor with tree trunks swinging at it from either side.

which was nice

Sorry to revive this thread (didn't want to make a new one ) but I just bought the PC version of Battlefront and boy is it filled with bugs. I could get through Naboo fine, but unless I set the graphics settings to low for the Theed battle my PC would reset midway through the level, so I suffered through low detail for Theed only to find the Wookie level would reset my PC straight away, even on low detail! Has anyone encountered this problem before? I know there's quite a few other bugs (dare I say it, probably more than DBP) but I haven't been able to find anyone else who's had this one.
