Wow feels wierd to make 2 topics in one day .

Gonna get this outta the way now though. I was wondering if there is any news on Max Payne 3. I'm pretty sure they have to be making one, i mean in the credits of MP2 the did have "Max Paynes Journey through the night will continue". So i was wondering, any news on lucky #3.

Kinda getting bored with the #2 mods. Might go play Kung Foo mod for MP1 .

Yeah, I remember seeing that message in the credits as well. I was expecting it though considering the first Max Payne had, "Max Payne's journey has only just begun..."

So yeah, there will be a third one and hopefully it will kick ass.

No so much doubt as to whether a new developer would be able to do something even better than Max Payne 2

Yeah, that's what I was referring to, I'm positive they're going to make a Max Payne 3 but I'm not so sure that a new developer will be able to do as well as Remedy has been able to. For some odd reason I feel very strongly about the Max Payne series and I don't know if it'll be the same with a different company making it.

It depends on what they would do really - would Mona be able to cheat death twice ? What would Max go up against this time ? Would the secret cabal be resurrect after the death of its leader ?

It's been tripe, if enjoyable tripe, all through. The solid game mechanics are already there, the plot and dialogue can't go anywhere but up; there's plenty of room for improvement in the level design. With a proper budget I really don't see how any respectable developer would be able to screw it up
