I know this is possible in DarkBasic Classic, but I am not sure how I would be able to use ActiveX controls in my DBP programs.

Could someone please help?

Where did you hear that worked in classic? I don't remember ActiveX ever being used in DB, Classic or Pro.

I thought I saw some plugins that were activeX controls for DBClassic, but I could be mistaken.

Anyway, is their a way I can use ActiveX controls in DBP applications.

there is a way of having vb dlls in dbpro - you have to wrap the vb dll with a c++ dll to do it though

Used to be Phoenix Insane : PC Spec-AMD Athlon 2.0Ghz,GeForce FX5200 128mb,512MB of ram, Win XP Pro SP2 . Last reformat: 17/09/2004

You cannot embed an activex control into your DB program, you can use VB dll's by using some sort of wrapper e.g. http://www.vbadvance.com

Because I want to use the statusbar ocx file from http://www.icxr.com and also the menux program from their wrapped in a dll not the full version but the demo of them. It would be a way to make professional looking menus, statusbars.
