The second (Not sure if annual or not) RGT-TGC (not a versus match, just intertwined) music composing competition.

As some may remember, about 9 months back me and Aaron F (Grim Reaper) held a inter-forums Composition contest. Well considering it has been 9 months (well he says a year, I say 6 months, so we go with the mean), We thought, well there should be a new one. So in that, the birth of competition 2.

The competition will be run about the same as last years competition:

1) Each composer should compose a piece of music no less then 1 minute long in the genre of their choice.

2) The file formats accepted are: Mp3 or MIDI. As these are the 2 simplest ways these are what are accepted.

3) Included with each composition must be a description of the song. Sense this is a game composing competition, you should state what would be happening on screen while your cue plays. You must also include a list of all the equipment and software you used as this helps the judges to better judge your composition. It should be noted that we frown upon fully loop-based programs such as Ejay and Acid.

4) The contest ends and judging begins on October 31st 2004.

The judges this year so far:

1) Me (Eric T)

2) AaronF/ Grim_Reaper(Aaron F)

3) 2 slots to be filled.

I am currently looking for the winning track (By RDBond) of last year, searching through my back-ups. As soon as I find it I will post it.

I will be creating a Web Page for the entrys as soon as we see an entry. If you have no space to upload an entry, email it to LiquidzSnake@Gmail.com and It can be uploaded for you.

Well we have found our first extra judge quickly:

Aura. All cause he made us laugh.

[22:57] <EricT> what backgorund do you have in music?
[22:58] <Aura> I used to work in an Irish pub

So yes Aura is extra judge 1.

Oh yeah, I remember this, I was listed as judging last time but unfortunately realised I was too busy so had to give up my position. Probably too busy this year as well, damn exams in a couple weeks.

After thinking about it, and suggestion from a few people:

1 Entry per person.

Good question though
