I want to execute a file through a small opening program, the syntax is EXECUTE FILE Filename, Commandline, Directory.

What do you write in the commandline area, I just want to open a file, I have used the SET DIR command to locate the file and have the correct file name but I don't know what to put in the comandline area.

execute file command is to run an exe file, where you then could specify command line params like:

execute file "notepad.exe","myfile.txt","",1

that will run notepad and open the txt file myfile.txt, the optional wait flag at the end, when set to 1 will cause dbp to halt execution until notepad is closed.
