Nah, I only work in Slough. It is such a wonderous place that I could not possible soil it's waters by living there. Plus I don't have the breathing aparatus required to live there 24-7.

That fat bloke from the office doesn't even come near to the level of human emotion that can be felt while harping on about the joys of Slough.... hmmm.... that sentence could be read in a slightly less manly way that intended..... I obviously meant compared with how the fat bloke harps on about Slough himself... erm...

Cheers

Skegness - isn't that the home of Toby Jugs? Beaten only by "print your own T-Shirt" and wind-up boobies?

I bet skeggy doesn't even have a Mars factory *and* a lack of hope and spirit found mainly in the best of places (so I've heard).

Slough is a cool place. I went there in early 2002, and I didn't catch on that I had been there before after watching all the episodes of The Office.

Yep, Slough can sometimes slip from your memory, only recoverable by hypnotic help, such as is given to trauma victims. Such is the power and greatness of Slough. Look it up on dictionary.com. Never has a place been named so aply. And it's an old english word... so they meant to call it that at the time... nice....

Slough
A depression or hollow, usually filled with deep mud or mire.
also slue A stagnant swamp, marsh, bog, or pond, especially as part of a bayou, inlet, or backwater.
A state of deep despair or moral degradation.

Yep, thats the one. Also something to do with a snake shedding it's skin. I *love* the state of deep despair or moral degradation. Fits it so well.

That is great!

I live by a city called Hatzic, which is an old Indian term meaning "Measuring Your Penis". The white settlers who moved here had no idea what it meant until it was too late to change it hehehe...

As a matter of fact there are some strange place names in the world, for instance:
Hell, Norway
Truth or Consequences, New Mexico
Ding Dong, Texas
Dum Dum Airport, Calcutta
And there was once a town named 6 in West Virginia.
Crazy, eh?

Simple.
