I have made a big cube a textured it with a water texture. And i want to make the texture SEMI-transparent. how can i do it?

I am currently working on : A Medievil style game
By the way I'm 13 years old!!

ghost the object, check the commands in the help file, you can set objects to look transparent with "ghost object on".

Mentor.

PC1: P4 3ghz, 1gig mem, 3x160gig hd`s, Radeon 9800pro w cooler (3rd gfx card), 6 way speakers.
PC2: AMD 2ghz, 512mb ram, FX5200 ultra, 16 bit SB.

Since dark basic classic doesn't have the alpha commands, to vary transparency you could modify the contrast of the water texture. If you make the water texture brighter (closer to white) it would be more visible when ghosted and if you make it dimmer (closer to black) it would be less visible.

You can experiment by changing the contrast of the water texture then ghosting the cube till you get the effect you want.
