geocities provides free hosting. as well as tripod. ^_^ But both of those are pretty limited in regards to hosting. However, if all you want is a small html site, those would work.

No offence, but you haven't lived until you've tried a copy of CPanel X....

My host is http://www.Pt-Web.net. You can get 100megs of space for free easily just by posting in a forum, more by writing an e-mail to the Admin.

And don't forget to try out the CPanel demo first. I mean, you can give people e-mail addresses at your domain, and they can use web-mail - as standard!
