Not really. Adding it as a feature wouldn't be good for 'historical reasons'... users could, for example, spam innappropriate images and then delete their threads quickly... potentially, users would be offended but moderators would have nothing to act on.

Threads aren't truly deleted anyway, you can visit a deleted thread (provided you still have the URL) but not post in them and Rich can still see them as normal posts because he's the Admin. I doubt you'll ever be able to delete your own threads though, you might delete something that's useful to someone else even though you think it's not.

While we may sometimes lock a thread upon request, we don't delete threads. We're not here as content editors.

If you don't like what you've posted, then you can edit your posts ... or think about what you post in the first place
