Actually, these stand-alone utilities
all work well with either system: DBC or DBP. It's
how you employ them that makes the difference.
For example, Texture Maker is a stand-alone utility that lets you use WYSIWYG and speed-menu selections to create some of the most incredible textures ever. You build them as 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, or 1024x1024 square texture blocks, and when you're done playing with them (your textures), you can save them as BMP, JPG, PBM, PNG, PPM, TGA, or TIF format! (Yeah, I use this utility a lot - it was well worth the cash!) And all of these files are easily loaded/used in either DBC or DBP!!!
