At the end of the day it's all pretty much irrelevent anyway, a great many of the models in the DarkMATTER collections are or where once free models in the first place.

What has not been breached is the license to use the models in our products/games when we write them, downloading the media is one thing, being allowed to use it is another.

That said, I wonder how many of the people spamming here have a totally pirate-software free collection?

Which is the biggest tool? The computer, or the muppet who invented it?

Thats a nice tid bit of irony actually. Problem is, there is a slim chance any of us have a totally clean collection of software/games (that includes roms).

Yeah, but how many of us are SELLING IT.

Hmm, I actually don't think I have any more pirated software on my computer.
Xbox games.... that's another story.

Well as for software...

Does using the old winzips "beyond trial period" thing count as pirating or a stupid mistake?

Nah i prefer not to pirate software... I *may* have a few PS2 games.

jebus christ, you panzies all with your whole oooh don't spam their forums cause we can get in trouble and it's childish, we are just having fun don't you get it? They wont file any suit against us for some misuse act, because a: they don't have the money, as said by teh non buying of darkmatter and b: they are dispensing free models that were stolen, even for some crazy ivan that would be stupid (and no that wasnt racist i was referring to an actual crazy ivan). None of us believe that spamming will get us what we want, we are just doing it to be a thorn in the side. and if it start a war between russia and america then don't blame me, i just alerted rich to the site where was I, oh yeah silly russians can't afford dark matter, i can't but i don't go pirating its models, hey maybe we should pirate some potatoes, make them annoyed

Quote: "as a sphere on a matrix demo with bugged camera movement - and as effective as a DBPro command help file"
and i'd say that i'd agree with you. Also i probably wouldn't try doing it because it only gives them leagal leverage against TGC, ever thought of that?

@Everyone - BTW if your not going listen and still spam another forum, please stow the language when your here!

Tell people about it from other forums. Don't say it's TGC.

Is it bad if I've already started spreading the word(without using the words TGC, DB, DarkBasic, DBPro, DarkBasic Pro, or Darkmatter, or anything related)?

@Rob: Have fun. No, seriously. No sarcasm. I've had quite a laugh reading those posts... I just wanted to side with Philip, and state my opinion on the matter, and I'll continue to be a watcher, but not a spammer...

I'd have to say this entire post is just ridiculously amuzing. By the way, does that make the TGC spammers cowboy-anti-pirate-gurrillas? Yeeeh-Arr!

Current Projects: Verious things right now. Lots of utils for game making. Hopefully something solid soon.
