@The dude guy: I really hope that isnt your sig, because a lot of people are going to hate you very quickly.. Highly suggest minimizing on pictures for sig's as it takes forever for dialup users.

Yeah, you are right Zokomoko. The main purpose of releasing the demo is to gather more feedbacks from the user, fix bugs, and tweak the game parameters to achieve game balance.

Sorry, the DNS server was down since last Friday. Dang, I gotta yell at my hosting service provider.

Anyway, do you mind visit it again next week. It should be up by next Monday or Tuesday, otherwise I am gonna fire that service provider.

Looking Great, EXCELENT models and textures.

My one critisim is with the name. "The Great War" refers to the First World War and so may make some people think it's a WWI game.

Looking Brilliant Bulleyes (and all others involved)
Obviously my opinions are from the video, but it all looks great especially the tactical map, i love the way as you get close to the markers you can see the ships. and the 'getting into the combat' bit looks very good - however i have to say the character is looking rather static as aposed to the rest of the game, as you are basing you player controlled character on a humanoid, people will have certain expectations with that, one being that (even though it may not be totaly within the correct rules of physics) the player seems to have no responce to movement or acceleration, a simple big of leg swing could really stylalise and bring that last needed bit of life to the character.
well theres my view, fantastic work, keep it up & good luck.

The video looks great. This looks like a game that I would actually buy. I can't believe that this game is being made in DarkBasic Pro.

I just downloaded it and had a quick go of it by myself..

One of the things that i think you guys should modify is part of the movement. When you hold up, left, right or down.. You start moving of course, but when you let go you -instantly- stop. I think you should sort of, "slide-halt" into it, so you dont stop instantly but more gradually.

The graphics looked good, and i really liked the music. When i ran into the ship, my ship dissapeared, and then it took a second before the explosion came, so it seemed a little bit late.

Besides those, everything seemed pretty cool
