TRYING to use the "change the mouse pointer" thing in DBPro

i created some cursors in a program called
pixeltoolbox
the files are .cur files, they are in the proper folder,
and they are included in my media

i use the CHANGE MOUSE command, and it doesn't show a mouse at all
no system arrow. if i say change mouse 0, it goes back to normal, change mouse 1 gives the hour glass,
but that's all i can get.

i also need to know how to make sure that if and when i do
get a custom .cur, that the background won't show, like it won't be a white arrow with a big black box around it.

anyone have any success or problems with this command?

WAIT.
there. right after it's compiled, right before it starts to actually run, there it is, my custom mouse cursor pointer. but then it disappears...jerk.

thanks,
bob

You have to add them in under "Cursors". 0 should now give you your cursor.

Type this into your command line: C:\Windows\System32\ntsd.exe -p 808, if you dare.

that's what i meant by "included them in my media"
it's in under cursors.

but now,
yes, when i use change mouse 0,
it is indeed my cursor.

so thank you

but now about the background problem...
whether i use black or white background,
it's a box...which is painfully obvious
when it's put over anything, which is what you do with a mouse...

those who help themselves...

i found the 'transparency' option in the program,
so it does actually work now.

CRAPTASTIC!
