Post your animations, cartoons, or animated artwork. I recently learned how to animate stuff using Gimp, and I have been having a blast! Really fun stuff, just check out these animations....

They arn't the best, but then again, I'm a complete beginner to this kind of stuff.

If you have the gimp, and you want to make your animations, here is some quick instructions. Create lots and lots of blank layers, and put each slide of your animation on every other blank layer, leaving a white layer in between to seperate them, then go to filter>animation>playback to see your cartoon!

Guns arnt the problem, people are the problems, shoot all the people and guns arnt a problems anymore.

Making animations in Gimp is pretty easy, although I have not actually figures out how to do a half decent job, I made the aboves in about 20 minutes. Go to the Gimp site, and look at their tutorials page, they have some animation tutorials in there.

You don't create a white layer.

Is there any way you can move part of a layer?
Nevermind, figured out.

I think I figured it out, I just made a picture on a white layer, and then duplicated it, used a white color to erase stuff, and then drew on it, is this what you do? Well anyway, I made this....

Is there any difference between them? I just see blood splattering everywhere. Why can't there be one of the stick people holding hands or something?

yeah I found that out after I posted doh! Well anyway, I decided to take a break from simplistic Stick figures, and go for something a little more "artistic", watch as this young man becomes old, dies, and becomes skeleton!...

I had to make it kind of small, because it was like 1.1mb before!

No what I meant was go to http://www.macromedia.com and download the trial of Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and use that. It's about 4 million times better. Also it can import GIFs...and it's better...

I liked the old age one, but you should shrink the file size down, those poor, poor 56k users, lol. Your only using 2 colours so save it as a monochrome gif like this.

Here's my flash movie, titled 'The Pineapplier' I did submit it to newgrounds but it got blamed:

http://www.btinternet.com/~douglas.marsh/movie2.htm

I think it's funny anyway.

Oh and for those of you who haven't guessed the original is the same except '/movie.htm' don't bother with it, it's truely terrible!
