right on my game i have made car code on how tomake it move and stuff and what ime doing now is maing it so when you walk up to it and press enter you can controll the car instead of the camera i need help in positioing the camera above the car like a third person mode and making it stay like that until you click enter again pls help thanks

Woah...that sentence could have used a few periods...

There are many tutorials for third person camera views. In fact, I believe there are a couple that come with Dark Basic. Take a look at them before asking on the forum. Look at the DB Help file, under examples. In Basic 3D there should be a third person camera example. If you need help with it, just ask.

You need to save the current "mode" in a variable, and operate the camera depending on what mode you are in.

aaaaaahhhhhhaaaaaaaaa i seee ( i think) so if ur in the car it is mode=2 and when your out then it is mode=1 and then you just do mode=set camera above car and if mode=1 set camera next to car and re-apply the movement to the camera i sssssssseeeeeeee (well i get what i mean even if u dont )
