My fault... sorry.. i recently bought dbp after using the demo for some time so i decided to create a new account and start fresh except when i went to post under new nmae, it told me i had to wait for a moderator to check my post b4 it would go live... patience is a virtue i dont have so i decided to post under my old name... wont happen again, im just so desperate to get this dll working..
thanx again Andy

Hey AndyUK, I remember you from CU!

I was wondering, why do you need this? You can load mp3s in DBPro just fine and you can also find lots of tools on the internet to convert between different audio formats.

512 MB Ram | NVIDIA GeForceFX 5600 AGP, with 256 MB Ram

im developing a peer to peer app that will let people search and play music on other peoples pc's.. when a user finds a file he is searching for on a remote pc... if the file is mp3 which it usually is, i want to be able to convert it ogg on the remote pc before sending it to the client. the only way i can see this happening is if i can convert the mp3 to wav using the dll i posted above and then using a function in the new dbpro enhancement pack to convert from wav to ogg.. what do you think? If i could read a file in dbpro while it was open with another app i could do live ogg streaming(already done it in Blitz).
