ok guys seeing as my other thread is dyign out i decided a new thread where i wont post images is required. I have more on my site now, infact
http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/unpotkf/HQUpdates.htm
check out that, i will regularlyish update the page when i get something new happening, for now its got some artwork i did for the game. Also I bought a lil notepad that I'm gonna use for writing down thoughts and ideas aswell as any concept drawing etc in, just so while im out hangin with nerds and the likes and i get a mad idea i won't worry about forgetting it by the time i get home. Also supremacy project has textured the goblin somewhat and has started trying a few animations, check out his goblin wip thread in the 3d forum for more stuff on that. For now catch up with yas soon.

sorry but I don't like, I think you only post artwork and scanned pictures and nothing more, and even if you could release some demo I think the graphics (models) are not enough good to show the Heroquest world, sorry it's my opinion anyway, good luck.

riiiiiight. well so far i do only post models and artwork, cause most video games of a decent scale require plans and artwork befor ethey are created. and yes the models are low calibur (save for the goblin model) but seeing as im not a modeller and I only jsut started i've done a nice job on some things. when I scan in my level concepts you will realize that the heroquest world will be shown rather nicely, im nto just doing a gameboard, it's a full 3d world with a roof etc. anyway you're entitled to your opinion, i just don't like it

but just a quick question thats off topic, have you ever seen a live performance? (not table top dancing.)

DBPro? Why with DBPro all of a sudden? Classic DB not good enuff for you?! Man I need to take you to this site

http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/?f=order_lite

hah! It cost me £9.99! I can't believe it. Thought it was less than half the price! And I get to keep it forever and ever! no fullstops in DBC, oohh no, or funny bra[kts]

i had dbc, it was slow, and also doesnt let me make more, more better work with graphics or take advantage of a few other things that make dbpro more advanced than dbc.
update: did some work on pen and paper with the jist and basic outline of the main campaign storyline, also set up some basic weaon sets etc. anyone who wants to check it out i can convert it toelectronic format and send off. basically waiting till i get my hands ont eh juicy goblin model from supremacy before i go working on mroe code.

DBC is too slow, especially with collision and/or large models.

Computer,
That's fine if you never intend to release anything as public domain. The lite version can't make executables, and DBPro is very cheap anyway, there's really no excuse not to have it .
