i really love the old db games from the past(games from the forum)

if you remember a good or funny game then post it here

if you can also post a download link and maybe some screens from it
that would be nice

i have a fun game to start with:

Titel : kill pika
the game is made by: Philip Griffiths

description:

its a simple game!

it can be downloaded here: http://www.geocities.com/evildarkfox

The Nerd

p.s also please write if you think this game was funny.
and DONT say that you made a game if its another one ho made it!

i make games, i play games... But the fun thing is that i like to make them more than play them....

My all time favourite DB game would have to be Lightcycles, a 3D tron game that I would'nt mind paying for - don't know what happend to the author though. I'm sure you can get it from the DBClassic showcase.

I remember Cave Runner. That was what got me hooked on Dark Basic to begin with. So few lines of code doing all of that. I don't know if this counts as an "oldie", but Hijacker: First Contact was/is a good one.

PC Specs: AMD 1800+ 512M DDR, Radeon 128meg DDR - DB v1.13

To DB or not to DB............duh DB!

That was very good, I was going to post that, but I thought the same as you, it's not that old.

Mr. Putts is the best DB game I have ever played (Havent tried firewall yet). In my opinion it could have been considered commercial quality 4 or 5 years ago.

What do you think about Limit Rush. Again, It's not old but it's a bloody good game. It's addictive and just a fun game to mess around on. (And I'm very jealous of it!)

Whoop whoop whoop. Big it up.

-----------------------------------------------------------

There was some game I remember playing that was really cool. It had a German name that was a chess move and you had to knock chess pieces around. It had bullet time and stuff.

It was fun.

I'll try and find it.

------------------------------------------------------------

It was in the showcase: http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/?m=showcase_view&i=135

Ragdoll Monkey Bowling: fun, but not quite old...

The first game that I saw made in DB that made me want to use it was Star Wraith. Those screenshots amazed me! That is what drove me to where I am today.

Star Wraith was indeed very cool. There was this one demo for a FPS that I saw, you would just walk around this little industrial level (it was around when DBP first came out btw), it was a beauitful, cool little mist effects and brilliant texturing.
