Hi, I'm wondering if there is any way to make a tunnel shaped matrix? I know I can build tunnels from objects, but ideally I want something I can deform and warp on the fly, and unless I have misunderstood, matrices are the easiest things to do that with.

Thanks

You can't do it with a matrix, because you can't shift the X/Z coordinates to curve it back on itself. X/Z are fixed distances from point to point.

You could possibly do it with 4 matrices, but it would kind of defeat the simplicity you are trying to acheive.

I have a little demo that I made for someone - it's like a tunnel editor and engine thing. You move 3D waypoints, and it creates a memblock mesh from the data. Not sure how useful that would be to you.

Van-B: sounds promising could you possibly post a link? some source code?
