You need windows to run it. Just download the zip and unzip it into a folder. Run the PW Client exe and click new to create a new account. Then log in using that account. If you encounter any problems, post here.

There's only a few levels right now, but you can chat to eachother and fight a few monsters out in the plains.

Like I said, it wasn't made in DB... I'm temporarily using the player worlds engine until I make my own in Visual Basic.NET

OOh! PW! I played around with that. Did you manage to find any documentation for the scripting language?

No, because their site is down at the moment. Like I said though, it's only temporary.

Cybernetic> hehe, I know, but that's why I'm making my own version!

I just started learning the basics of DirectPlay today, and all I've done so far is made it so you can create a session, and see the created sessions, haven't made it so you can join the sessions yet... Right now I'm just learning Peer to Peer, am getting to Server/Client stuff soon.

Right now I just want to make a graphical Peer to Peer chat program

Hey, if any of you guys happen to know any good DirectX9 for VB.NET tutorials, I'd really appreciate it... For now I'm just going to use GDI+ but I hear that's pretty slow!

Well, 2 days into learning DirectPlay and I have a simple chat program done!!!

It's really very basic right now, but at least I have it sending and recieving data! Now I'm going to work on adding players, and allowing you to choose your username when you join, so you can differentiate between different users...

After having tons of trouble with DirectPlay, and not being able to get it to work correctly, I might just continue this project with DarkBasic.
