I just replaced Windows ME for Windows XP. I wiped C:, but lost a couple of programs which I though I had backed up.

I am looking for a registry editor that I had downloaded, but I can't remember the name of it. It wipes off unwanted registry items like a do-it-yourself adaware program. Can somebody tell me what it was called?

Thanks!

Pincho.

Nope, it's a tool which knows what the bad registry files are. It tells you whether they are adware, or suspicious entries.

I'm still looking on Google but it had an unusual name. C'mon guys, there was a post about adaware not long ago, and it was on there, but the search on this forum is not very good.

There's a good few registry cleaners, maybe one of these refreshes your memory?
