Well my other animation thread got locked because some people couldn't resist the craving to add more blood in their animations than the city blood bank, but now the thread is back! And with new regulations that enfrenge on your right as a human being! Better? NO! But it's all your gonna get!

hehe I used gimp to make first image, and then used various other tools... I don't use gimp exept on "still" images.

Ok, I posted this on the 'my thread was locked' one, but I don't think anyone's looking at that now. So I copied and pasted my previous post into this one

I agree with MikeS on this one. It wasn't really the violence as much as the 'R' rated material that got the thread locked. Some of Ilya's animations were pretty disgusting, espc. the last one, the 'ceiling gun.' So please warn of any excess violence, gore, and/or sheer grossness ALONG with the link

Anyways, here's mine again:

A little violent (shows a stick person having his head kicked off) but no blood, no excess gore, and no grossness.

Abit violent. Has red blood spurts and two stick people being chopped in half by a stick-ninja (or somthing like that) but again, no grossness.

NEW! It's unfinished to an extreme, but the gist of it is still there. Two fencers go after each other. One gets his hand chopped off. Abit heavy on the blood, and there's a dismembered hand that flyes around, but nothing too extreme.

you'll laugh at me

I used paint for all of the frames, and stuck them together by inserting all frames in MS Word, and then made it into a gif by copying from word and pasting into MS Gif Creator... that's why my animation isn't high visual quality

But hey, what can a guy do when he's at work? I'll try and squeeze some time in to do it properly at home for you guys

I'm using GIMP. ([href]www.gimp.org[/href]) I still havn't figured out how to edit previous frames, or how to edit saved gifs, but it works nicely My stuff would look *alot* better if I could just figure out how to edit frames

can adobe animate gifs? thats news to me. I have 6.0

(just downloaded the gimp (2.0.5/gtk+2.4.1) for Windows but I'll wait to see what adobe can do)


EDIT DUUUUUH! I have Macromedia mx Studio with fireworks DUH!

Another roxxorz one from yours truly. This one was made in the Gimp... a bit easier to animate, but more cumbersome than Paint.. I should borrow my brother's wacom tablet and give that a try.. may turn out better than hand drawing with the mouse
