I dont know why but i cant seem to load music file.
everything i write dont seem to work.
i first load mp3 meadia then i write load music "music/misty room.mp3" ,1
play music 1
nothing happens.
am i wrong
please help

dark basic has trouble with mp3's. No game that's released for sale uses mp3's that I know of. I think mp3's have a liscencing issue on them, and if you use them comercially you need to pay royalities to someone. Db isn't standardized to use them, but there is a way. Wav files load fine, but you have to pull some shorcuts for mp3s.

You CAN use MP3s in DB(Classic). You couldn't in the original release 1.08 but an update enabled you to do it. Never had a problem using them myself.

I think you'd use LOAD SOUND and PLAY SOUND to load and play a WAV file. I thought you use those commands for MP3 files also. I think LOAD MUSIC is for MID files.

Yeah in DB use LOAD MUSIC for mod files and midis and LOAD SOUND for wavs and mp3's. In DBPro it's LOAD MUSIC for mp3's.
