when LOGD was hosted by TGC??? those were the good old days. i pesterd rich to bring it back, he put his foot down and said a definate "no"

so, i thought "why not put it on my own server"... and why not?

but now im thinking... is there any point- will it be as popular as it was? tell me what you think?

Why the hell not, it'll be good fun at any rate. I wonder if there'll be as much wife-snatching and backstabbing as last time ^_^

Bah, we're not all pensioners like you DavidT

LOGD was less than a year ago, even though it might seem much, much longer. Or not, depending on your perspective on time

I joined the XMB forums about 1 week before they went down and were transferred over to RGT. I then joined Apollo the say Rich announced the new DBPro site (Aug 26th 2002 I think).

There are been others who've been around waaay longer than me - VanB for example

I RULED LOTGD

I can assure you all that if you bring it back, I'll give you all a chance. That is, I won't play. I've shagged enough wenches, killed enough people in their sleep, and slayed enough dragons for one lifetime. You will all have to remember me as the champion. I'm retired and will be forever remembered as the best.
(...plus, after a while it got boring).

We've never run XMB here... ever

I'm not bringing LOGD back, there are literally hundreds of places to play it on the web. Go searching.

Cheers,

Rich

So did I and one other person, I forgot who. We three were the kings*!

Yeah, someone should reupload it to their own site or something. Or come up with something new.

Cheers,
Preston

Legend of the Green Dragon, it was a net text based rpg that Rich had uploaded to the TGC server for a while. It was great, we would often play it hours on end (and because of it many of us lost valuable programming time).

Cheers,
Preston

yeh- rich made the mistake of running it during the alienware compo, so people played that instead of working on the entries...
