Okay I am working on a text based game where i have quite a few variables. You know those tomagatchi thingys. Well they are really big with the girls right now at my school and I felt like making a game type one for the computer but I need to figure out how to save the stats. They are variables.

Name$
PetName$
PetGender$
Str
Intel
Wis
Cha
Cash

those are just a couple variables. Then i will also need to save the items that a person has. I want it to be in an organized manner of saving. Like in a .ini file but not that file format. I want it to where the user can't edit it easily and change their stuff. Thanks.

You want to use the write commands. Depending on the data type, you will use the different ones like WRITE WORD WRITE BYTE WRITE DWORD etc. If you want a description on the different data types, feel free to give me an email.
