Chomping is the key!

Ok, provisionally called Shut Your Mouth, I have uploaded the work in progress demo level. It looks weird, because it's full of test objects.

Feedback appreciated!!! More details below the screenshot

LINK REMOVED - Coming Back Soon, major update on it's way!

Keys:
left and right to rotate
Shift Key to Chomp

Scoring:
10 points per apple + 10 points per second remaining on the clock (bottom right)
Each apple has a random power-up
Eating the apple without chomping will stop you dead, and your snake has to accelerate again
BUT...Chomping loses points and speed. Chomp too early and you will slow down too much and lose more points than you gain. Chomping will make or break you.
You may choose not to "Chomp" if you are out of control and want to get out of a tricky situation.

Power-Ups
Speed
Sway (rotating faster)
Slither (increased sideways movement)
Recover

All Power-ups return to normal after a period of time, based on the recovery rate. As you can see, recovery rate can increase with power-ups.

You can crash into yourself, or sheer objects such as the milk carton or bin sides. You can climb in the bin, but hit the sides while you are in there and you will crash.

Known issues, fixes on the way:
Snake doesn't always return to centre after crashing.
Slow-down when crossing manouverable objects
When the exit appears, entering it will crash the program

To Do:
The obvious stuff -
actual levels
Menus
Lives
Hi-Scores
blah de blah

That image is still missing. Have you phoned the missing image helpline?

I found it! I have a routine built in now that tells me what's missing. So I can put it in a shipping folder, run it and let it cry.

Anyhoo, it's moved on leaps and bounds, and I plan to tart it up a little more before releasing it again. I'll update the first entry to let people know.
