what's the asp.net user in sp2 do? It appeared automatically. Is it safe to disable the account? Or is it recommended to leave it on?

Are you using ASP.NET?

I would think it's safe to disable the account if you're not using ASP.NET.

why would it be on by default? And I assume for devving asp.net apps?
