I have the tree texture, and it looks good. (No more metal sticks ) I may upload a demo with trees later tonight. I've also optimized some things with the engine to make the game run much more smoothly, so tonight(late) expect a better looking demo.

@Peter: I'm real anxious to get that new robot/guy/cyborg you were working on. I have special plans for him.

Alright, I uploaded a better demo. Download at the link in the first post. Please people, give some constructive criticism, as I want to make this game half-way decent.

The download link in your first post. I replaced the file with the new version.

How long did it take you to find that bug? Thanks for the info; I'll look into that and see why it's doing it.

There isn't a lot of difference. It's mostly speed optimizations. I have a crappy video card, so I had to optimize until it ran smoothly for me. On the first demo, in some areas, it had over 40,000 polys drawn. I've got it to where there shouldn't ever be more than 12,000 drawn at a time. Oh, I also added a slight fog to this demo.

I'm sorry about the trees. I haven't had time to put them in yet. But if you get clear to the other end of the map, there is one tree surrounded by a whole bunch of robots. I'm using it as a temporary place-marker for the end-of-level teleporter thingy.
