Newcomers DBPro Corner / Ugly Sprites Problem

Im having problems with sprites using db pro. They are coming up ok but they seem distorted.

Im using a screen resolution of 1024,768,32 on DB screen setup and 24 bitmap on paint using the same screen size - (and have tried different variations with the same results). Does anyone know what im doing wrong ?

the same problem also happens with paste image.

a bag of sweets goes to anyone with the solution

After looking at other posts ive sorted out the problem ... sorry no sweets today folks

Incase anyone else is having the same problem :-

Original code:
load image "XXX.bmp",1

Solution Code:
load image "XXX.bmp",1,1

dunno why the extra 1 works ... but it works
