I know that when posting we can use the B,U,I,center,quote,email,image,http://,code buttons, but I have seen that people have had links in their sig's image to go to different web pages, or text that when clicked will go to a web address. How do you do this?

No, what I want to do is have an image that when clicked will lead to a web page. Similar to TCA's sig. And with your sig, you have architectonic and you have a longer web address that is points too.

Now I having problems with getting my sig to be a link it keeps saying over 200 characters in the sig. (I am trying to change this through the profile, and not just by posting on the regular forums

This is what i have, please note I have changed the brackets so that when posted it will look different than it is suppose too.

Please don't post multiple times when you can simply edit your post.

You should use the following code to do what you want:

However, as it says when you try to update it, your sig is too long, this is because there is a maximum of 200 characters. You'll have to find some free webspace to upload the image yourself so you can use a shorter URL or remove the "Join the group" text or the (Center) tags.

From memory, Rich is going to force the uploading of sigs (so you won't get this problem) but this probably isn't going to happen for a while, so you'll just have to upload it to your own space for now.

I am sorry for double posting but AOL kept on locking me out of editing those posts due to parental controls (it seems to pick a random DarkBasic Forum to block and blocks it). I did not want to double post but I couldn't edit the other posts, sorry? and I have corrected my sig so that it now works.

The default editor is fine.

My parents have it because we get it for $3.00 a month, and they like the security controls of the software, which I hate.

Well the security controls they like even though we have norton antivirus.

My parents computer is the only computer that uses AOL, I personally prefer Netscape instead.

I have 1 hardware firewall. So far, I haven't found any adware, spyware, viruses, ect.

I have a router and a LAN hub and my dad has the same with an extra box for the firewall - three of them and I had to rewire it

Norton was suppose to come out with an external firewall that hooks to the wall so anything on the internet goes through the external firewall.

It's called a (hardware) firewall

I have a hardware firewall and a software firewall. I'm safe as houses

I actually have the WinXP firewall ( ) but in the next couple days I'm going to install Norton Firewall (dad bought it) and my router may have one (it denies access for example)
