Hi, my bro has a Nvidia 5200 and I need to tweak the mip mapping settings but I cant find where the Mip Mapping setting area is. If anyone with a 5200 could kindly post where I can find this setting (Cause Its driving me crazy) I would be very greatful.

Oh and if you check out my other thread out about RYL (Risk your life)

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=41735&b=2

and you decide to play it and you have a Nvidia you will also need to put your mip map settings on high quality.

Right click on the desktop, properties, settings tab, advanced button. Depending on your driver version the nVidia options tab will be in there somewhere and there should be a 'mipmap detail quality' slider with options from Best Performance to Blend to Best Image Quality.

Did, there is no mip map bar Ive found something called Force Mip map but that only gives you 3 options and its not a scrolling bar. On the other hand my radeon card has the mip map bar in a easy to find location.

If they're new, there's no way there's not a mipmap tab there-- every card from the TNT on up to the Geforce 6800 has it! Make sure you've checked all the tabs and options. And it might be called 'image detail quality' or something.

If you happen to actually be using a version of the drivers from this decade though
the following example will be more likely.

If you are not currently using Forceware 60, I would strongly recommend you update, as GeForce FX cards gain a very significant speed boost from it when using complex Shaders.

I would also recommend getting a GeForce 6200, as they are very cheap and powerful.
