Where's the best place to get free 3D models to use with DBPro? I've already tried turbosquid.com & 3Dcafe.com.

I need a male player character.

An old fave of mine is Avalon (http://avalon.viewpoint.com). Their web interface is a little klunky but there is lots of content and I've found some very useful war-type models there in the past.

3DCafe (www.3dcafe.com) has free models and/or links to them. Watch the poly count though, a lot of the stuff I go there wasn't designed with gaming in mind.

[edit] BTW, if you have Dark Basic Classic, I suggest running any .3DS models you download (from above) through the 3DS2X conversion command that classic provides to get them into .X format. It saves time on loading them later, and, for reasons I cannot explain, some .3DS models Pro has trouble loading can still be loaded in Classic and converted to .X which *does* load OK in Pro. A good example is any of the geo-metricks human avatars (Turbosquid used to have one for free download, not sure if they still do).
