I have a green light on my HUD (a non-textured, green coloured plane) which should glow brightly. Here's the problem: when the plane is facing in certain directions (ie away from the light source), it goes dull. My solution - 'set object light 0'. Now it's lost it's colour and is pure white.

How can I have a coloured plane that stays bright all the time? Any ideas? (set object emissive didn't work either).

you have coloured the object rather than texturing it, for some reason DB doesnt think that a green coloured cube is the same as a green textured cube (I say cube because I used a cube in the example), if you use a texture to give the object it`s colour then all is well, if you just use the colour object command then it just doesn`t work as it should (yet another bug)

Mentor.

ps: press left/right keys to turn the camera left and right.

PC1: P4 3ghz, 1gig mem, 3x160gig hd`s, Radeon 9800pro w cooler (3rd gfx card), 6 way speakers.
PC2: AMD 2ghz, 512mb ram, FX5200 ultra, 16 bit SB.
Mini ATX cases suck.
