For those who are brave enough to buy the Retrogamer magazine (issue 9), there be pictures of the games entered for the Retro games competition - mines there, page 103 4th column, 7th row...

As a side note, I see DBPro is being advertised - and you get 5 blank DVD's with each order...

Now, since I've delivered this public service announcement you can all go back to sleep now.

And my game 'Splat' is also there, page 102, row 6, column 4

All the retro games are also on the cover CD. Famous at last!

Good luck TCA! Only another month to wait for the results.

I would have liked Retro Gamer more if I had any of the first 3 issues. They are going for silly money (up to £50!) on ebay. There weren't many issues printed and are now very rare. Amazing for a mag that only started in January this year!

I'm gonna try and snag a few of the cheaper ebay issue 1's and store 'em away for a few years.

When I've finished with them, I use them as floor covering for the guinea pig...

Spooky, I’ve got issue 3 if you want it. The corners are curled slightly but otherwise it’s in fairly good condition. I didn’t buy any more issues so it may as well go to someone who’s collecting. You can have it for free.

Let me know if you want it. Maybe I could send it to TGC and they could forward it to you. Or whatever you think.

TCA - I can't find Retro Gamer for sale here anymore--- which is why I was sobbing hehehe.

I bought two issues a while ago for a hefty $23.00 each... clearly one of the best magazines ever printed.

Amen to that!

I will be your biggest customer

Let's see: Retro Gamer, Computer Music mag, and maybe a few other U.K. mags might tide me over for now

Grief. I've bought every single issue and chucked them all in the bin after I read them. Top reads and nostalgia central, but slightly annoying I could have made a nice bundle on them afterwards. Not as if I'm particularly sentimental about them, like my Crash! collection. That my mother chucked in the rubbish a while back. Cry. Not as if I don't have much room in my own house either. Oh, and then there was the 2 speccies, Atari ST, and my old grandstand pong effort (with Sniper rifle!!!! from like 1980 or something). All went to the charity shop when they cleaned up the house for retiring abroad. Double cry. Could have bloody asked.....

So small mental note to the people still living with their parents; take *everything* with you.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
