I got 3D Game Maker from Focus Multi Media Limited in the mail a few weeks after ordering it from this web site. Is 3D Game Maker from Focus Multi Media Limited different from 3D Game Maker from The Game Creators? How can I update it to latest version?

Nope, it's the same one. It's published by Focus, but written by TGC

Here's the update page : http://t3dgm.thegamecreators.com/?f=upgrades

I have no idea how you check the version.

If it runs Ok on your machine then you don't need the update - it's just an XP compatibility fix. If you do have problems, download and install the update.

My computer has WinXP Pro. After downloading and installing the update files, 3DGM crashes when I try to create new games. I removed and re-install 3DGM without installing the update files and 3DGM worked. I tried to check the version of 3DGM by right-clicking on its filename and choosing "Properties" but there is no "Version" tab.

The label on the 3DGM CD-ROM says "Revision 2". Does this mean that I have the latest version?
