There isn't one yet. Stop asking It'll be ready when we say so, but there are no promises that will even be before the EA version is finished.

Cheers,

Rich

ouch I was looking forward to that

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

This is an evil post. It feels like I had a date with a hot chick, and she stood me up and didn't show up.

It would be nice to see a demo game - though I dont think one has actually ever been promised.

Personally I would hope that no demo game means we get to have the EA version release more quickly and I would much prefer that. It seems the release of FPSC EA is too far away - we will best see what FPSC can do in practice by having that.

You have seen what can be done in the video demos and screens posted to date and more will probably follow in time.

Forget the demo game - lets have the EA

a demo game would be nice... an example of what FPSC can do...

but it is not a necessary thing...

and rushing the dev team is another unnecessary thing...

trust me, it would be better to leave em alone and give em the time it needs if you want this thing to come out working right...

or maybe you just want to relive the bug filled releases and fixes that plagued the early days of DBPro.

the early days stop when again?
Update 6 is aparently the miricle patch, sent from the Source to cure DBP of all it's sins.. or was that Jesus and the Christmas thing again?

that's possible the only reason i'm looking forward to the FPSC, the Update that follows it!

Maybe not so clever. Marketing can be a hit and miss affair and they may not sell quite so many copies until people can experience a decent actual game demo.

French Gui's just referring to Rich's topic title - the software isn't even finished, so there's no demo game. He's not trying to dodgy marketing stunt
