Newcomers DBPro Corner / loading matix?? please help

hey
i am using db classic and want to load a matrix. i know u can cause if u cant why are there editors like geoscape 3d and matedit? i need help. can someone please tell me how to using db classic or if u can

actually you can not "load" a matrix

matedit makes a matrix and saves it as its own format.
then you use the loadmdf function to "load" it into db.
but when you "load" then you actually just uses the data from a file to make the matrix look the way you want. so you use make matrix, prepare matrix texture, set matrix tile, set matrix height and all of the other matrix commands.

in geoscape you make a bitmap that holds a heightmap.
that heightmap you can use to form the matrix as you draw it.
there is a heightmap code around here but I dont know where right now
