are there any free 3d object editors around that can export into .x format? i need help finding some. if someone could provide a link or even their own program id be extremely grateful[email]

A, this is in the wrong board, it should be in General.
and, B, have a look in the sticky of the DarkBASIC board titled "Game Programmer Kit For Beginers" - as it lists all that kind of thing.
