... it seems *I* have won the US Presidental Election.

Needless to say I am as surprised as you, but I am pleased and gratified with the amazing outpouring of support shown for my candidature (especially as I didn't actually HAVE a candidature). This just goes to show the untapped power of the bear vote, not to mention my friend Booboo's amazing ability to cast over 119 million separate votes all by himself.

I shall be giving my acceptance speech shortly and I am awaiting calls from Mr. Bush, Mr. Kerry and Mr. Nader conceding defeat. In the meantime, my three main policy objectives will be:

1. greater pic-a-nic basket stealing and hibernation rights for bears;

2. compulsory jam sandwiches for breakfast; and

3. the creation of an official wilderness for bears to live in - which I'm going to call "Montana".

Mr. President Philip

Personally I'm ecstatic for Philip and all bear-kind, however if this trend continues then in 4 years time you'll be up running against Arnold Swarzenegger, who would instantly turn Montana into a bear hunting reserve for heterosexual millionaires.

I am quite surprised you have not seen him on TV, he appears quite often on the... uhh... 'Childrens Network'.

Wooah, there Mr Bear. You obviously haven't realised that in the US, you don't win on number of votes. As all of your votes were cast in the college of JellyStone Park, that gets you just one seat, and you don't in fact steal the presidency.

Never mind, better luck in 4 years time.

Have you seen the size of BooBoo's legs? He'slucky to make it to the first Polling station.

And when Ranger Smith finds out he's left the Park, well...

Hanger 18 did exist, but was unfortunately destroyed by Johnny 5*.

*This is not admission of the existance of Johnny 5.*
