Hi, it's a long time since sunday drivers, here's the next chapter...


and



i've started the coding in the half of septempber and now i have:

100% working arcade section with:

12 player tanks
28 enemy tanks
5 guest tanks
all fighting in the same small scenario (i.e. 45 tanks in a 5000x5000 matrix, a tank is 45 pixel wide...)

player can move from one tank to another one during battle

10 levels of ai
50 stages
8 different tanks
8 squads with own speciality
powerups like barrier and supershot
... some nasty cow walking around .... (Jeff Minter will love it!)
i've to see how many scenario need the game. i think 6.

for the end of December, it will be avaiable on my www,
totally free, 100% completed and with fully rem sourcecode and not encripted (with all files)

i'm your Sataclaus, isn't it????

yes, i'm not in the compo, because the time for a complete develop of sunday panzers project will take about 3.5 4 months, so it was impossible to have a decent and complete game in 2 months.
Either, i prefer to have my game in a "stand alone" section instead of a bulked tgc compo section.
ehm, i need help.
Someone of you have a funny mp3 song for the intro??? about 300 kb looped mp3.
i have about 2, but they are copyrighted. (happy tree family, and a song of Magnifiko,her ai cam)
You'll be mentioned in the intro.

nope, no demo or beta release.
Only the complete game, near the end of December, for a personal reason:
i don't want to be influenced by anyone, all is made like my own idea, with bad and good side.

my one gripe with sunday drivers was that everything moved extremely frustratingly slow...please don't do that to panzers...

The Panzer tank was well know for it's SPEED

anyway i love the cartoony graphics

@Benjamin , comment are welcome, i mean i don't want to be influenced by comments, like "for me it's better the tank ecc ecc "

about speed, you can select 100 fps mode and 50 fps mode during game.

@Uberwiggett robx
i was here around, minding how make a game more funny and nice than sunday drivers.
i make 1 level and an editor for a fps, really good, but boring to play.
then, a wipeout clone, only physycs engine and one craft.
then, a destruction derby game, only at 10% of work.
now, Sunday panzers is the good project for me, funny, nice to code and to make graphics.

finally, about a comment on nazi simbol, i used a simbol of metal slug, then, i kwon it remind a nazi simbol, but nevermind.

Excellent looking title Ermes. Funny enough, I just started playing through Sunday Drivers a few days ago. (Still working my way to get that phantom car )

This will be great and even better than Sunday Drivers I'm sure.

no multiplayer, sorry!!!
The atrwork of the tanks are made using CorelDraw, i'm a pubblicitary graphics for job, so, it isn't so difficult for me to use corelfdraw's vector draws for making texture

i'm near Novara, at 15 Km heading to Torino.
I like the cartoon style graphics, so it's very funny for me to make a game totally in toon style. (Sunday Drivers...)
Wait a couple of months, then it will be completed.
Not a great game for sure, but funny enought.
