Another xbox game that used the hijack feature is True Crime. Personally, i think it was a pretty neat feature, however still not as good as halo 2. The thing is.. True crime would have to be the in between game of GTA and Halo 2, as they both have similar elements.

The thing is, GTA's hijack experience gets boring after awhile.. In halo, with the boost button for the ghost, there's a good chance your going to get splattered rather than hijack the vehicle, requiring you to make split second judgement, whereas in GTA.. you run up to a car, pull the guy out and take off..

Personally, in GTA i think it would be a lot better if they had some kind of button combo command line where you'd have to press a series of buttons listed on the screens, or else the guy in the vehicle would KICK and PUNCH you out of the car and drive off afterwards.

The whole point behind GTA is that it is easy to get a car, it would be pointless if you found that perfect car, and the dude just punches you and runs off, I like how GTA makes it super easy to jack rides, because I wouldn't want to waste my time running after a car I want to steal.

Guns arnt the problem, people are the problem, shoot all the people and guns arnt a problem anymore.

I just feel that way about GTA because I feel it gets repetitive after a while, and the missions leave more to be desired.

They are two completely different settings and gameplay ideas. In once you are a dude running around a city causing mayhem, in the other you are fighting a war against aliens. In the city people are typically going to try and avoid hitting you lest you sue them or they accidentally kill you. In a human VS alien war aliens aren't going to slow down for anybody. You get in their way and you are roadkill.

Yea but i mean in reality not everyone is going to let you steal their car so some people should be able to fight back like people in good cars it should be a challenge to steal the car. Anyway halo 2s verhicles are cool and jacking them a fun challenge much more you can do with them although i do wish we could drive the shadow now that would be awsome.

O_O What are you on about..

The reason they don't take you out is because you rip them out and toss them on the ground..

If you cancel getting in the car right after you pull them out.. eg, tap the run button and tap away from the car, and then watch them get up, sometimes they run away, sometimes they start to fight you, and sometimes they get back in their car and take off as fast as they can..

i love halo 2. it's not that much different than halo 1, but all the differences are improvements.

i love not having to worry about a health bar. instead, the shield seems to last longer, and it just makes it more frantic when you have no shield - rather than thinking "oh well, i've got full health, i can still take a bullet," it's more like, "oh crap i'm defenseless, run away." makes for much better strategy and less "run into every room with guns blazing."

i love how the pistol is now crap (they call it "laughably weak" in the booklet). i was really fed up with people pistol-sniping me from the other end of hang 'em high or sidewinder (?!?) in halo 1, so it really evens the playing field. also the rocket launcher, while it now homes in on vehicles, is almost useless against people, as the blast radius has been severely reduced. no more people thinking they're good at halo because they can use the rocket launcher.

the variety of multiplayer games, and the improvement of some of the existing multiplayer modea, is awesome. blood gulch (now coagulation) is much better, especially with banshees and more places to hide. the new maps are great, if a bit large (really pushing for the many-player XBLive games, i guess.. not everyone has broadband, guys). storming the fortress in zanzibar is fun too. but probably our (group of friends) most favorite game is oddball. it's just better now. i'm not sure why. but rocketball and swordball.. oh dear lord, are they fun.

i can't say much for the 1-player aspect for the simple fact that i haven't played it. i played through co-op with one of my friends through the first level, but that's it. i really want to see more of the story though (that's what the game's all about ).

i guess i have a real respect for halo because it's one of the things that really brought me closer to my friends, in a way. before halo, i didn't really get together with my friends outside of school.. but now i always want to hang out with them, even for things besides halo.

"when it's done" means "we have no idea, we forgot to do that; we were hoping you would all forget we promised <insert exotic promise here>"
